Inter Island Airways plans to launch Fiji domestic air service in late-2017
Inter Island Airways continues to work towards completing its Air Operating Certificate (AOC) certification with the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF). The AOC process is approximately 50% completed (Flight Operations process is 99% completed) with remaining 50% of certification process work directed towards completing the construction and availability of new aircraft maintenance facilities, hiring and training of aircraft maintenance personnel and review and audit of maintenance procedures required to service and maintain its fleet of Dornier 228 and DH8-100/200 series "Dash 8" aircraft. Inter Island Airways (Fiji) is working towards receiving its CAAF approval and issuance of AOC in late-2016
build-up of airline infrastructure
While its AOC certification process nears completion, Inter Island Airways continues to prepare airline infrastructure and logistics. Planning, design and preparation work on airport terminal facilities continue to progress as Inter Island Airways prepares to receive its aircraft.
Inter Island Airways is finalising the recruitment of key management personnel while recruitment continues to gain momentum for other critical airline personnel. Applications and CV/Resumes for open positions continue to be accepted on the airline on our career page. The interview and selection process has been extended into mid-2017
